Building is almost compete! What a change from 100' long to 36'. From 40' wide to 18', but its a start. Some of you may notice, a change in the categories to web site. I have decided to combine items, and delete some that I feel like, will not be able to store due to limited space at this time. Good note, will be adding a few new categories of different stock. Also, web site is getting a make-over. Let me know if you approve of the changes!

Well, friends, its been a long, hard road, but maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is finely here. Clean up of the building has been finished, and rebuilding well under way. Interesting thoughts on that, 1st appraisal of clean up by professionals was around 15,000. Several weeks later, and one third they way threw, next appraisal was 10,000. Last appraisal, when I had 2/3 cleaned up, was 4,000. Needless to say, being on the poor side of the small business industry, yours truly had to clean it up. Board by board, burned meal by the truck load, off to the dump we went. The last of the building was the toughest, as it had not collapsed. I put the old truck to good use, as a bulldozer and pulled the last of the beams out. Would have made a great commercial for the toughness of old Chevy trucks.

Lots of dealer's and friends have come by, and made monetary donations to assist us through this time of hardship.  Had it not been for the help and good will from everyone, am sure we would have gave up. The blackened ruins, stand as the grim reminder of the day a piece of history was lost.   Even today, it is hard to write this, without tears coming to my eyes.

Thank you to all our customers and patrons, and those who just stopped in to ask about the place over the years.
On October 23, 2002, we suffered a catastrophic fire at the store. Basically all merchandise was lost, and we are afraid that it will probably be impossible to make repairs to the parts left. Looking at the regular picture above, almost all that is left is the area just past the front doors. None of the wonderful items we stocked, nor
any of the old original items from the store were able to be saved.
